It looks like the first and last one is getting a lot of love. To be hones I like the 5th the most myself. I was there to shoot the rime iced trees, and this shots shows just that - the trees. The contrasting colors and this pinkish glow from a sunrising sun hitting left side of trees made my day for two reasons: one, I found my trees completely covered in rime ice, and two, the weather cooperated that day.
All I was missing is some Northern Lights but nope, they were way far north off of me at the time.
Well, the camera didn’t fail, just the back screen. It works now again. And no, I had Nikon D810 and D850 and they worked fine in low temps. I used Nikon D810 in Grand Teton once at temps -40C/-40F and it worked fine. I guess those mirrorless are more fragile. But like I’ve mentioned before the Panasonic mirrorless is much better in this respect and rated to -10C. Nikon Z7 is only rated to 0C that’s 32F. It’s not for low temp camera and I’m happy it worked for me in Finland.

All very nice as always. Interesting facts about camera trouble. I have not shot in temps that low, is it typical to have camera failures at those temps?

These are all beautiful images. Excellent compositions and the light is superb.
You went through a lot to get them and the results are beautiful.
I was surprised to see a lion in the second one.
