Great shot of Bass Harbor Light. They have since closed the trail leading down to that location, so this is definitely one to print and frame.
I was there last October and access was fine with an official trail with solid steps. When was it closed?
That is one stunning image that nicely depicts the rugged coast of Maine. Plenty of weathering showing on the lighthouse building.....love that, great color and textures.
Nice depth, my eyes start on the rocks, run up the the light then out to that beautiful sunset.
All good for me

Terrific image! Any particular changes in processing that stood out?
Phil
Phil,
Nothing much. Lately I am learning quite a lot on luminosity masks. Sean Bigsaw has a number of videos on luminosity masks. Moreover I learnt how blend multiple exposures more effectively now. This image, as an example, is composite of 5 different exposures

That is pretty shocking to hear. It is not an uncommon trend though. NPS and private land owners are making places off limit lately to preserve the beauty. With more tourist traffic things are getting out of hand in many cases
