Thanks Birdie
Appreciate it
There is space in the reserve but it had to the right type of territory
With prey, cover (trees scrub grass) and water
That would be prime real estate for which the fights take place
If there’s not enough of those areas in the core area, the vanquished or displaced tigers have to move into the buffer zones
Problems start when these new tigers interact with the humans or cattle in these zones

What a marvelous set KD!!! No favorites, love the variety and different conditions you show.
I’m curious if the territorial disputes are due to limited amounts of space or just natural.

Lovely KD. Only Bgarh or did you make it to others as well. Sad to hear about Solo’s cub. We got a glimpse of them last March and had a nice evening with Dotty’s. See the latter have grown and already hunting on their own. So looking forward to seeing them in March.
thanks Bibek. Only Bandhavgarh was visited. did not have time to do the others. I did visit LRK for a couple days before the jungles, though. What an experience it was. Also recently found out that Solo's cub was found, safe and sound. What a relief.
Dotty's cubs are not fully self reliant yet. Dotty and Mahaman do feed them. Good luck with your March visit, you should have a blast. It is rumored that Spotty has another litter as well.
