Joshua these shots are simply stunning. What a magnificent series of shots telling a story. I can't believe how his digestive system could process such a catch. I think there might be a marketing opportunity for you here with Red Lobster.

Dave, thank you very much for your kind words. I have seen images of mergansers catching small crayfish but I simply didn’t expect that it would be able to digest something that large. It was even tough for the merganser to swallow the crayfish and had to try it several times after the legs and pinchers were removed.
