Colin F posted some great shots of Indian women recently and was a very deserving thread winner. I have just returned from an Indian trip and here are a few of mine. Not up to Colin's standard for sure but they were fun to shoot and we loved our time in India

Don't diminish your ablilties Peter! These are fine images! Sharp ,colorful and another view into the people we seldom see. Good framing. Exposures appear fine enough for me.

Thanks for the positive critique guys.

I did ask most of the ladies, sometimes with just a gesture. I found the Indian people a delight to photograph.

Interestingly there was often a quid pro quo as there aren't too many white tourists and we were often asked to appear in selfies with the locals.
