Thanks Fred. We have a lot of selfish interest in the working dog world, as our family is quite involved in working activities with the Newfoundland and Leonberger breeds. And, as much work as the fostering arrangement has been, we've learned a lot of practical, and emotional, lessons.

The Newfoundland is a special breed, in our view. Like other working breeds, the Newfoundland has a deep capacity for bond with his owner/handler when they work together towards common purpose. Thanks for your comments.
