Hi all, thought I'd share some pics from a few of the 11 Nutcracker performances I shot this season. Definitely a fun year this year shooting more dance than ever.

the 5th one stands out to me .. and the 3rd

nice when you can get some music while photographing.

All are excellent but #4 you nailed it Ron!!!! The vibrant colors and sharp dancers and correct DOF for fine compositions!!

Beautiful pictures, Ron! The costumes are gorgeous, as are the dancers. Add the music and it easy to understand why ballet is the photographer's favorite.

True.

But do you know what happens to a photographer when they shoot the same show dozens and dozens of times?

Maybe that's why the dancers I met morph a little once they get outside on the streets, away from dozens of inside rehearse performances.
