These are marvelous Birdie. I looked at these this morning but didn't have time to comment so I came back now to enjoy them again. Each of them has a very different and special feel to it. Great work.

I love Bosque environmental images, as the refuge and the skies are just magical, and you've captured it well here, Birdie. Love all the images but especially #4 and #5. Well done!
Thank you Bobby. I love how Bosque is so conducive to both landscapes and wildlife

Birdie, you bring that place to life with your images. Excellent job with each of them, that first shot is gorgeous with #4 being a piece of art. Glad you found some good stuff.
Thanks Louie! The mornings were tough with the frozen fingers , but worth it.

Birdie, you captured the essence of Bosque! Yes, the number of birds, namely sandhill cranes, is definitely lower than in the previous years but you made that up with other beautiful aspects of that place. YGMV!
Joshua
Thanks Joshua! It is a such a beautiful place isn’t it. Next trip needs to longer

You have such a great eye for details, color, and composition, Birdie! How is it that you saw and captured scenes and I totally missed them 🙄🧐😂
Viewing your images makes me feel like I’m right back at BdA, and that’s really the best compliment I can give! Great to have finally met you and hope to learn more from shooting with you in the future 🙂
Mitesh it was really a pleasure to meet you. I’m much shorter than you , so I have a different view.

Thanks Birdie and others that have posted recent images from BdA. We are planning on being there for about 10 days starting Sunday Dec. 22. We'll be staying at Chupadero Mtn View RV Park between San Antonio and BdA. This will be our 9th time, but it has been 3 years since our last visit. We really love the light and wildlife viewing that always changes there.
Art
I am envious of your upcoming trip. It is truly a wonderful place albeit cold
Have a wonderful time and look forward to seeing your work

Fantastic set! #5 is my fav...looking forward to more awesome stuff
Gorgeous work, Birdie, as usual. I'm hoping that the weather will be cooperative in early February when we leave Arizona so that we can make a side trip up to Bosque. I'll be taking pictures but they surely will not be like any of these. I just want to see the place for myself and enjoy the experience.

#2 oh gosh wish I were there just sitting on my butt enjoying that moment Birdie, love it!
#3 sure has a nice feel to it, nice way to capture the mood
#5 haven't ever seen BG colors like those but they are most attractive and so very different to what I see, very cool
#'s 1&6 do justice to light and color, glad you shared these
Super set and I am sure there is much more to come.............
Karl
Thanks so very much Karl. I was sitting on my butt for a good many of these and let me tell you the ground was cold
Hope you get to make it to Bosque at some point in time, you would truly enjoy it.

Fabulous set Roberta. It’s scary, but the second shot is nearly identical to one I shot last month six thousand miles away while watching the crane migration through the M.E.
It is a small world !

#5 is the standout for me. About the maximum wing blur for my taste and a much different perspective than the usual run-of-the-mill Sandy shots.
I think your Louisiana scenics are just as magical as this location.

Thanks for the kind words Tony. No.5 is my favorite .

Fantastic set Birdie, beautiful colorful set thank you for sharing
Congrats on a well-deserved win, Birdie! You are on the roll now - how many times after the switch again? I thought it is the person behind the camera that counts . Of course, the person behind the camera counts a lot but the gear selection matters, too.
Roberta these shots are al beautiful, but the first and last are stunning. I know you have thousands of beautiful images in your collection , but #1 deserves to be a big print on a wall at home.
