Following up on my previous bobcat thread, went and saw the family again today and had some wonderful opportunities with mom and the kittens. Mom is having to work much harder for her meals this year than last, with many more failed hunting attempts than successes. Hope you enjoy the photos!
A kitten pounces toward mom as she prepares to go out on a hunt.
Female kitten follows mom, who has already passed by.
Mom emerging from the reeds after another failed hunt.
Wet, she heads off to groom. After a foray into the wet, she'll often spend quiet time cleaning herself.
These are amazing! I have done some bobcat photography but have never been able to produce a tight series of images like these... Picture two is fantastic.
Very nice set Jeffry!
I wonder why the one pouncing in #1 and also shown in #4 has such vivid and beautiful markings compared to it's mom and siblings. They are all beautiful but that little guy/gal is gorgeous.
Beautiful series. This is at Sweetwater? I went there last Spring in search of these, but had no idea where to look. Wandered around, no luck. Hard to imagine how you get such incredible views.

Thank you and yes, Sweetwater. She is fairly active at certain times of year, but it is always hit or miss seeing her. It is a very amazing experience!
