Oh.... my.... goodness!!!!
Stunning all!
I can't pick a favorite. But... being a cat person, both ocelot shots and all the jaguar shots are stellar! Jaguar in the water?? looking straight at the camera?? Wow!!!
Super job Eric! What a trip that must have been.
Cheers,
Hobbes
Thanks so much Hobbes, it is special but oh so different than Africa...yes, you should go and I'm sure you will love it even if the experience is vastly different.

Amazing work Eric... This is such an amazing display of biodiversity.
I am so impressed with some of the more intimate images that you have shared... the Pantanal is a "bucket list" sport for me.
bravo!

Thanks Bruce, we had a treasure trove and were quite fortunate. There are still quite a few images yet to be shown and once off grandfather duty I my get around to processing some of those.

I'm just Speechless. Beyond words other than to say that I was there 1 year ago and was "generally" pleased with some of my images but Man have you set a new standard and this makes me want to go back even more and improve my skills.
You are too kind. As you know, so many factors go into capturing images one is happy with. We all argue about luck but indeed good fortune plays plays a roll and I think we had that in spades. And of course every trip like every day out on the river can bring new surprises.

I agree Eric. I worked at a wild cat preserve in S. Oregon for 2 years and one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Dan
I'm just now seeing this and what a gorgeous collection and super comps with classic poses. Hard enough with static subjects. . . but with wildlife? Bravo!

Thank you, it is difficult to get all the shots one wants and there are plenty I either missed or just never had the opportunity to get....that is what brings me back to photograph nature...the unexpected moments are what makes it all worthwhile.
Absolutely love this collection from the Pantanal especially the amazingly sharp feather detail on the sun bittern in flight. Big applause from this admirer!
