I went on a ten-day road trip from CA to Yellowstone, down through the Tetons, into Colorado and then home. I was late for Colorado fall color in general (the first week of Oct) but, I did find a lot of areas that still looked good. Here a few examples.
Gale,
I'm glad you made it. These are some lovely colors, much better than my encounters in GTNP and YS. Aspen groves have eluded me for a while ...maybe next year.

Thanks, Sunny.
I found a huge (~60 mi. long) Aspen forest in Northwestern corner Colorado. I saw several hunters but not one photographer. Next year I'm going to skip Yellowstone and the Tetons and go directly to this location.

That's my plan as well...going to GTNP after 10 years...it looked the same
Great captures, hopefully by now that first one with the birch trees has been enlarged and is hanging over your fireplace, awesome shot!!! Start selling that one

I'm glad you like it. I'm hoping it will do well in next year's art shows.
