I really like this one, too. Might I ask how far from the subject you are? I know there is a thin plane of focus, but in spite of the shutter speed, am I detecting some motion in her front hand or is it all from the narrow depth of field? Thanks!
I prefer this one to your other one. The composition is good, exposure is good although the lighting is a tiny bit flat. What did bother me is the soil stains on her white dress. And the file size is a little big to allow one to view the image comfortably - I am having to zoom out to see the entire image on my monitor. Is she your GF Alex?
Hey Alex has a nice feel to it, rather soft light as mentioned. I am not a portrait or people photographer but I sure can appreciate those that are
I am just going to speak out in general................I agree with Bobby on the soiled white (pure) dress which made me think to look at it in a tighter crop that actually went more to a vertical format and I liked it! The BG for me to the left of the subject though obscured is still a bit too busy IMO for this 'soft' image so less of it gave more to the beautiful young lady and the pose.
My .02 worth and also a big for the angle you took on this one. And maybe push a little, very little more light into her eyes?
All previous comments are valid, you did ask for feedback. But to the casual observer this is a very captivating photo. The sensuality in such a peaceful place, the low angle of the shot (better make sure you have a short strap) and of course the beauty of the model made me look at the photo longer than most photo's I see.
Always room for improvement but a very good photo.
THANK YOU ALL for the feedback. As a newbie in this fields, i appreciate all the feedback. I have no idea what to look for when i'm out on the shot that day. I'm having a little idea of what to expect for the next shot.
