We visited the Longji Rice Terraces when we were there, and also attended the spectacular Liu Sanjie Impressions Light Show staged on the Li River, created and choreographed by Zhang Yi Mou who also directed and choreographed the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Found this video of that show on the internet:

Thanks Jack! I shot those with my old Canon 5D II. #1 and #8 with the Canon 24-70 and #2-7 with the 70-200 lens.
