I've really started to develop a love for shooting moms and their kids. Being a mom myself, there's not often a lot of time to get glammed up. I love bringing moms in and really pampering them and creating images that they will (hopefully) cherish forever. I also can relate to the moms that have told me that there aren't any photos of themselves with their kids since they're usually the ones shooting. I joked with my husband that if I disappeared tomorrow, there'd be no proof that the kids even had a mom since I'm always taking pics of the kids by themselves or doing cute things with their dad. Mental note...take some pics of myself with my kids!
This is probably the closest thing to a newborn shoot I'm comfortable doing - baby is only 8 weeks old!
I have been researching my family tree, and in addition to identifying previous generations, I have been collecting all the old photos of them that I can find. Based on my experience, I am confident that not only will that mom love your images, so will that baby's grandparents. But some day in the future, one of that baby's grandkids will discover one of these photos in a box or cabinet and stop in their tracks and say "Wow."
Dawn, more exquisite photography! The backdrop really brings out the natural colors. Now when the "little one" gets a hair cut, save the clippings! I need them!!!
Great!

I guess I am a pessimist, but how could one decide on which one to print? I mean, every damn one of these is stunning. I guess a print for every room in the house is how I would approach it. Wow, beautiful work.
