It's definitely an injury or disease, as that dude was a younger guy. The crazy thing is that I think he might be semi-high on the pecking order of the younger ones, as I'm fairly certain that the alpha was allowing the younger guy to groom him. From what the guide told us, this usually occurs only with the "next in line".
Absolutely an amazing experience!! Something that we'll never forget.
Jeff, you are going to have to define "perfect" for me because in my eye, these are just that. Awesome set my friend. Really enjoyed viewing these guys in their habitat!
