p.1 #1 · The hunt for red October.... uh, no, green June bug
This is a frame out of some 40 or so images captured as the owl was approaching its favorite food at warp speed. At the end it went pretty much vertically. The subsequent frame showed his body without head and claw , I didn't react fast enough to tilt up the camera further, although I did get the subsequent frames, showing the owl turn around with the June bug in its claw. So, he scored but I didn't , I missed the crucial image. Fortunately, I was able to get a similar but complete action sequence later. This image, showing how the feathers in the back of the owl blown by the move, is however interesting.
I appreciate any comment and thank you for looking,

At one time we were fortunate to get two or three frames out of sequence like this. Now we are whining about the 141st and 142nd frame we missed . I don't know how you do it buddy but shots like this make me quite a bit envious of the opportunities you have and have captured!
Sweet! Now quit concentrating on that big ole owl and start shooting the bug
