I’m certainly very envious . These are so gorgeous. Love them all. Really like that you did the slow shutter speed on some, especially love 13.
Beautiful work KD.

thanks so much Birdie. You have lovely HBs in your back yard, Birdie. But if CR can be called a toucans and tanager paradise, Ecuador is HB paradise. I believe Joshua is going there end of October, beginning of Nov and with his skills, he will kill it. I had very little choice in processing and shooting without the flash

To say I'm impressed with this series would be severely understating just how impressed I am !
thanks so much Bear. I get lucky every once in a while and all the help I have gotten from this forum has helped me improve my photography.

These are a real treat to view. The colors are amazing ! Great work
thanks Gary. agree with you that the HBs in Ecuador rule. there is so much variety and the density is also quite good.

So many great shots. I like seeing the variety of colors and I've always been partial to the swordbills.
thanks for viewing and commenting, Daniel. the sword bills were one of the hardest HBs to shoot, since they did not get close and did not stay long in any spot. plus it was very easy to get them overflowing the frame due to the long bill
