ACDSee & Dual Monitor Problem

I have a dual monitor system and use one monitor for displaying images and the other for everything else.

When I double click on a thumbnail to see a full size image the image is being displayed on the wrong monitor.

Anyone know how I get ACDSee to use the correct monitor to display images

Thanks.

you should be able to click and drag to the right monitor that you want it to open on and restart the program and it should open on the correct screen.

double clicking on a thumbnail displays an image full screen on the wrong monitor. Unfortunately attempting to drag the full screen image to the correct monitor doesn't work.

Is it only ACDSee that has the problem, or does the same thing happen with other apps?

Haven't tried other apps like breezebrowser yet, but will soon.

ACDSee goes into full screen mode with no window border to drag around; most apps use the windowing system to display their output.

This is the only app where I've had a problem getting output where I want it.

I'll guess I'll just have to get another image quality monitor!

ACDSee tech support has given up on the problem. They state that ACDSee is not dual monitor aware and therefore they have no suggestions.

When you view the fullscreen image - right click and turn off full screen mode.

You will get an image with a border. If the border is maximized, make it so it is not maximized and then drag to the new monitor.

Maximize it and then turn fullscreen mode back on.

This worked for me.
