Hello all! My wife and I had the pleasure of traveling to Uganda in August. It was our first time in the country, so we didn't quite know what to expect (spoiler alert: it was amazing!!). It was also our first time using a company to organize the itinerary - many firsts!

First stop was Murchison Falls National Park - main activities here were safari game drive one morning (along with the drive-in to the lodge through the park) and a Nile boat cruise in the afternoon.

Sorry for amount of photos at once, but I figured that this is better than nickel and diming everyone.

C&C is welcome - especially as I processed these on a new display and I'm not entirely sure how things are landing.

Jeff, completely floored...OMG. cannot for the life of me pick favs. lovely lovely lovely. YGMV for sure. love the B&W renditions.
BTW I had visited these falls when I was 5 years old.
waiting for more gems.

Jeff, some great images, it looks like a wonderful visit! I do think it might be better to do multiple posts over time as I'm not sure people will look through all of these shots at one sitting.

Terrific set Jeff. You have come close to the record for number of images in a post yet you have a way to go to get there. Based on the number of each type of creature you posted I'd say you favor giraffes. Your post is a delight to view.

What a pleasure to see these. The green season brings the beauty of the animals. You have done wonderful to capture these.

You may not realize, you have been bitten by African bug. You should plan for the next trip.

KD!! Thanks so much - I'm very, very pleased that you enjoyed them. Really!!! That's so cool - I wonder how much has changed since then? We were so hoping to see a shoebill on our trip, but we'll settle for the hornbill (my wife's favorite!).

Cheers, Mansur! Your images always seem to awaken the bug whenever I see them.

I would agree you about the African bug, but that was 5 years ago! This has been our 4th trip and we only have about 25 other locations that we cannot wait to visit.
