Gulls are usually not at the top of the target list for most bird photographers, but with some effort, some interesting (if not humerous) images can be had with these characters.
Wow, their behavior for sure is interesting, Colin and you captured that really well. I am not sure what the gull in #7 was trying to swallow... Is that some kind of a flat fish?

Gorgeous collection of work Collin. You have taken a subject most would pass by and given us a beautiful collection showing some amazing behaviors and poses.
The signs of a true photographer is taking the 'common subject' and elevating it to standards like these
I wasn't thrilled when I saw 'gulls' but now I am These are truly fine captures of light and detail and character Colin, I enjoyed each and every one of these for varying reasons.........all good ones!
So help me here, the two gulls with their beaks locked on the rocks, it really looks like there is an 'eye' in each one of their mouths........freaky I first thought there were three sets of beaks interlocked
Great handling of the whites and beautiful blues, love the character that the clams bring and the creative drips and vegetation dangling. Yep..............I Voted!!
