Harsh time of year. Night before last I spent 4 hours outside hugging a telescope and a mount. It was 13F...a lot of time on my knees hooking up cables, guiding scope, laptops, etc. It beat me pretty hard and I slept 11 hours when I got home. I think age has gotten me and I best stick with the indoor sport of splashes when it is that crap outside.

Problem here is for good conditions (moisture in the air, dark clear nights) it is painful winter. I don't know if I'll go back I hurt so much.
Good is that the Riv did really well. Macro, BIF, astro, truly a one ring body. I just packed it for the Florida trip, leaving next Wednesday. I plan on using the a9 mostly but the Riv will be there as back up.
One from yesterday. Had hard time getting my pocket wizard plus II to work on A7rIV. It looks no one shoots with strobes. Next shoot will be using Fuji instead. Much better camera interface on Fuji compared to Sony.
More I used the E 70-350G more I like it. It's no 100400GM that's for sure but the size and weight are really nice for my spine and hips If you recall I had a copy I returned which turned out best because I gambled with Henry's of Canada for the second copy and save $250.
