Wanted to see what the 100-400 with the 1.4x teleconverter could do in APS-C mode on the a7r iv and then what a fairly heavy crop of APS-C mode would look like. Here are two moon shots - the first as framed in APS-C mode, the second cropped and edited. I probably made some technical errors - I've never taken photos of the moon before.

Those latest two shots were still from back when I had the camera as I have returned it and not re-purchased. Those are two shots that worked out but of course they were the few left over after culling all the missed ones. I still stick by my comments that my copy of the camera had issues in getting consistent shots in perfect focus.
