Thanks a lot. @Morris I process these first for the color in PS. With the final image I take a stamped layer and convert to BW using Silver eFX Pro from the Niks suite. I used to start with a canned profile, but now do it from scratch as it gives me very nice control on what I want to do. Also the old school grey/orange/yellow/blue/green filters help augment the image as well.

The motivation for converting them were on opposite ends of the light spectrum. The lion portrait was converted because the froth in his mouth was looking ugly 🤣
The wildebeest were shot around 11:00 am on the way back from the morning drive and the sun was extremely harsh and I had packed my camera away, but just could not resist this flock the way they were standing.
