I photographed this set of little green herons at the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY on Wednesday. They moved around quite a bit allowing me to capture them in different environments.

If you had not noticed all were taken in the rain which started as a mist and then a strong band from Tropical Storm Erin came in. I did not mind the rain as it was a warm day yet a few minutes after I took the last image I'm showing conditions sent us running for cover. No complaints about having to stop shooting as it was a terrific morning.
