Unsaid/unconsidered is that the EF 200 works well with 1.4X TC even indoors. That adds to it’s versatility. But then I’m a sucker for a 200Mm F2.0. I have the Nikkor version too,

If I was contemplating the 200 f/2 vs another lens, I'd make sure to compare it to the Sigma 105mm F/1.4 if focal length is negotiable.
Hell, if possible, compare all 3 together!
When doing model shoots the focal length is very much negotiable for me and just like you I would love to se comparisons between the Canon 200 f2 and the Sigma 105 f1.4.
Preferable on a 30+ mp sensor at comparable size motive in the frame and some at same distance just for the heck of it I have not stumbles upon such a comparison. Anyone?

I presume you heard about Canon 5R coming in this summer. Might be worth to keep your Canon 200 f2 for it. If don't want to go back to Canon and need something now you can't go wrong with Sony 135 1.8. Even i did not get a chance to try either i can see clearly on image samples here or other websites both lenses can produce fantastic results.
There is also option to get Sigma 135 1.8 at around €1000 right now to have something while 5R arrives so you could do more practical decision later. Sigma is supposed to be every bit as good as Sony.

I am not prepared to go back to Canon. I was very dissapointed they didn't produce any mirrorless cameras and now the do I don't like there pricing on their otherwise very interesting lenses
I have bought the Sony 135 f1.8 and are very pleased with it. Couldn't be happier. Still I miss the 200 f2 and wonder if the Sigma 105 f1.4 is comparable I bokeh and sharpness.

No 200mm f2 here, only have 300mm f2.8 IS I and the 85L from my Canon days. Got the Sigma 105mm f1.4 but haven't had chance to use it much and now we are in middle of the lockdown so no more going out and shoot for few weeks. For me, I am hoping Canon releases this R5 and it performs as everyone is expecting. Sony are nice, very good AF but overall I like Fuji better, it is just that Fuji doesn't have anything besides their 110mm f2 lens.
