Two. An RRS series 2 tripod and a tabletop Slik tripod for when I can't bring the RRS. I used to use Manfrotto tripods for many years, but the RRS tripod is just a superior product (sure, it's in a different price range too).
I think I have around ten tripods, various sizes and vintages, but I mainly use a large Gitzo G-1504 Tele Studex Giant and a couple of Manfrotto 055's. I have a lot of custom made stuff that I used to shoot cars, not sure how much they qualify as 'tripods' in the traditional sense.

Too many right now but I am trying to sell a few. I currently own
a) Gitzo GT1542T with Markings Q3T ball head (for sale)
b) Gitzo GT2531 Mountaineer with Marking Q10
c) Gitzo GT3541XLS with leveling head and Markings Q20 or Benro S7 Video Fluid Head
d) RRS TV33 with leveling head and either BH55 ball head or Wimberley WH-200 II gimbal head
e) New Gitzo 100-Year Anniversary Edition Traveler and ball head. (Great deal from B&H in year 101 - a classic)
Also own a few monopods with the iFootage Cobra-2 C-180 my latest. Bought the small Komoto fluid head for it for view and may use with my new 200-600mm G coming soon.
Admit I have zero desire for the new Peak Design travel tripod. Strange head and too many levers on the legs for me....Show more →
Should add that for the GT2531 I have the Markins TH-200 spider. Also have the TH-300 I have used with the GT3541XLS legs but recently converted that to a video use buying the Gitzo 75mm bowl for the Benro S7 head and leveling adapter. Also have a RRS leveling base for it which is really just a 75 bowl as well with its own leveling adapter. Originally recommended for the Gitzo but since not due to the lack of a base lock.
I am now down to two tripods, a 3-section Gitzo 2531LVL quick leveling tripod, and a Feisol CT-3472 4-section tripod. I use the Feisol with its standard plate and a Arca-Swiss D4 geared panning head or with the Feisol quick level base or with the Feisol center column kit. In 20 seconds I can change out the top section and so the Feisol has taken the place of 3 tripods.
The Feisol center column kit is an exceptional piece of gear. It adds 7 inches of very stable working height for the tripod when I need more height for wildlife photography and it is 50% larger than the center columns on the usual tripod and so there is zero flex as it is twice as strong a support. Takes 20 seconds to remove the base plate or quick level device and put on the center column. Nothing else comes close.
I was scrolling through this thread a 2nd time today, and realized that was a Commodore? Don't know if the ute is a Holden or Ford though.

Yes to everything, there are Commodores, Holden and Ford utes in those few pics. I worked for Australian custom car magazines so there was heaps of that stuff. That was another life, I haven't done that for years.
There are a few rig shots in these links in case you're interested.

Don't know how many times you stated this, but you still say it likes it unique for Feisol. It's not, in fact, its apex looks like older models from SIRUI yeas ago and the 3 locking screws is shared with most tripods having a removable apex top.
Both Gitzo and PMG has apex top plates that are removable with a single ratchet lever, not 3 screws. A single ratchet which is, of course, is a lot faster.
BUT when does one need to change the apex plate in mere seconds? Seems like an invented feature, and taken directly from Feisols own marketing.

It's obvious you're happy with your Feisol gear and that's great, but you often make the same blatant statement that nothing comes close to it etc.
Center column is 50% larger? As in longer, circumference? Compared to which models, you never told us which models you compared to.
I have 1 currently, a cheap Sirui which i abuse a lot.
But i need to buy one more. I am not sure which of the 3 choices will suit me better.
Gitzo traveller series 0
Gitzo traveller series 1
Gitzo mountaineer series 1
Not sure if series 0 is sturdy enough for mirrorless + 70-300 type scenario.
Mountaineers are not foldable like travellers but they are light enough. They have a different design which attracts me.
