You caught some nice light in the first image. IMO, On last image you might want to see about straightening the horizon line and remove shadows to bring out the details.
Nice images.. Acadia is such a great place I will be heading back this fall myself .On # 2 I would crop off everything to the left of the rock beach making more of a 4 : 3 vertical crop. Brings you more into a really nice shot and puts more focus on the rock beach as a FG. Really like the wild flowers as well. Regards Dean

Thank you Keepclicking! I will try that! I thought about using HDR to capture the shadows, but it always feels unnatural to me.

Thank you Dean, I had not thought of cropping that shot. You are right in that the left side does not add anything. Acadia is beautiful. I learned it is prime Lyme disease country so I stayed out of the high brush. Climbing over the rocks on the beach is kind of fun! I bet autumn is spectacular. Thanks again, Barry
