Dave. Nice shot but to me it looks little too dark. The histogram seem be to shifted to the left. If you move it to the right before highlights get blown out the image would look a lot better IMHO.

Hi Gregg - thanks for taking the time for some suggested changes. At first I thought "no" - I do not want to shift anything to the right because I wanted to preserve the moodiness of the moment. It was a day that started with torrents of rain and later in the day the ceiling finally lifted high enough to see the mountains with their newly acquired snow. I wanted to preserve that moodiness. But then I thought - don't move it all the way to right but try moving it just enough to give it additional dynamic range without compromising on the mood. And yes that worked well - so thanks for your suggestion!
