OMG! How amazing that you got to see a pack of wild dogs make a kill. I've been on safari 14 times and have never seen one, although we have arrived within a minute or two after the kill. It takes a strong stomach to watch the whole process, I would think.

Thanks KD...yes, that experience was quite something....one in our group broke down in tears and it was quite understandable.

Wonderful Eric. Must be tough to watch the scene play out with the wild dogs. I think I prefer the cute ones

Yes it is tough to see and one of my travel mates broke down....easy to see why.

Thanks....it is hard to watch although probably less so than a warthog kill with all the screaming or a buffalo bellowing for an hour.....I've seen quite a few painted wolf kills but as you say they typically are so efficient that you don't get to see the take down, just the aftermath.

Great set Eric. The kits sure are cute, and the rest are just nature, but very well done ~ Ron
Thanks Ron....yes, we would all like to believe that they are only cute but of course we know that just isn't reality.

Your work is amazing Eric. I really love the intimacy of the photography. Your use of angle and foreground elements really draw the viewer in.
cheers,

Thanks Bruce, I've tried to include some more "wide" shots but they just don't do it for me...I want peope to feel they are in the moment with me and the subjects....I really like those wider ones done by others that do those very well....I just haven't figured out the magic sauce for that.
