Like blueridge, spent several days there and never saw the mtn. Birding and animals were amazing.
Great pics.
Now I know how lucky I was. A friend of mine, who has lots of business there, said that the mountains are covered up some times for months.
Well, now you have an excellent excuse go back there.
These are all excellent images. Amboseli is famous for beautiful images like these. I like the 2cd and the last images best. I prefer the original version of #2, the reworked looks a bit over processed to me.

The animals are the best foreground technique yet! "Mt. K' is a very often forgotten peak. The contrast of the dry land to snow cap is great!

Dan, you are so right. Few years back I flew to Grand Tetons as a quest for a perfect picture: the elks and their big antlers. With the Tetons as the back ground. I got the picture but instead of the elks got the moose with their golden antlers.it was great. Thanks for comment.-------------------------------

Great shots. The animals with the mountain in the background makes for a griping composition. Wonderful light too.

very nice a big difference in the look from Tanzania., spectacular with Kili in the background behind the animals.
I just revisited these pictures and noticed that nr 3 didn’t get much attention. It was indeed only one I got printed , big, 24x36. I am looking at it right now. I think the composition is the greatest. The elephant in the foreground and the three trees in front of the mountain aligned, working together so well. What do you think?

Love this part of the world. It may be my monitor that needs calibration, but the reworked looks a bit too saturated (yellow).
Very nice set. Thanks a lot for sharing.
I love Africa. I have been ther about 10 Times, mostly with photographersgroup. But the first time it was just for my wife and me. It was 18 years ago. We just talked about doing it all over again
