Sunrise at Reynisfjara Beach, in Iceland. Despite the crowds, if you know when and where to go you can still have the place all for yourself, which is really exciting Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.
Gorgeous Light and color Vieri! To my eye the horizon looks a little canted clockwise. But that could be due to the angles of the beach and the waves.

Thank you very much Douglas, glad you enjoyed it! The horizon is straight, actually, it's probably just an optical effect created by the angles of the beach and the waves as you said

very exotic atmosphere that we can not express, but wonderful mood
Beautiful shot! I'm heading there myself in 3 weeks! Any tips for shooting this location? Ive read all about the sneaker waves and a little freaked out to be honest! What time was this taken, and what time of year if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you very much indeed, glad you enjoyed it! About sneaker waves, just read the warnings and signs that you'll find on the walkway to the beach, they'll explain clearly too you what to do - and, definitely don't play with waves as I have seen people doing, best case you'll end up completely soaked, worse case... well, you don't want to die, do you? (Seriously, that happens). I took this in February, and the photo has been taken at sunrise, as written.
If you visit in Summer there's never any crowds at golden hour (or more accurately, hours) as the sunset/sunrise times are so absurd there. I had some of Iceland's most popular locations entirely to myself, all the tourists were in bed

You'd be surprised, I have seen people in the middle of the night, sub-zero temperatures (a lot sub-zero!), trying to shoot the Northern lights... Plus, I much prefer the colours and light in Iceland in winter, summer is beautiful but winter is just out of this world!
