Tested out the 90-280 on running dogs. My larger French bulldog was too lazy to come outside, so I had to lay on the ground with this 5 pounder. Hit rate was very good with tracking on, but I wonder if subject detection would have been any better (eyes in focus instead of ball)?

SL with Elmarit-R 19mm Ver2 Lens.
I saw your picture and asked myself, which SL lens was that? Then I realized that it's THE lens I've been searching for, for 4 years and I don't even have a Leica yet. Truly one of the best wide angles ever made, and still is. I have a Leica-R 28mm E-55 and it's also a spectacular lens, but the 19mm, either version, is the next step above the Elmarit-R 28mm! I was in Yellowstone last year and used the 28mm w/a Canon 5DSR, but still not that crisp!

Thank you. Yes, the Leica Elmarit-R 19/2.8 V2 is one of my favorite wide angle lenses. In addition to the color brilliance and crispness, the images it produces have a certain gentleness and relaxed feel to them.
I have been reading about this lens and found it to be very interesting. Is your Meyer Optik Goerlitz 100mm F2.8 a native L-mount lens? If so, does it provide an electronic contact for focal and EXIF information? Thanks.
