Fred, awesome images! It didn’t feel like much when we were there but the images we got were actually quite pleasing. Look what Bobby (@bobbytan) missed for watching some stupid tennis tournaments.... on TV . And of course, you scored big with images of the mom’s carrying an insect home while I was fumbling with my gear . I can’t wait until the 200-600mm is available . The lens I sold you seems to work splendidly, BTW.
No regrets, Joshua. The French Open tennis match between Wawringa and Tsitsipas was a freaking amazing 5-setter! I was literally sitting on the edge of my chair! So good.
Having said that, this is seriously a very nice set, Fred! Well done!

For being the "other guy" on this session, you've shown what two photographers can accomplish when covering the same scene. Your photo #2 is terrific and I was reminded of Joshua's similar photograph until I scrolled down to see the little photo bomb at the bottom of the frame. Great work on all.

Bobby, they make a thing called a PVR so you don't have to miss great owl action and can watch Tennis when you get home

Nothing like watching a live game. And besides, the owls are not going anywhere - they will be around for a long time. And there is no telling what you will get - every visit is different, and you just have to get lucky! I will be visiting them this weekend. Then again, it's the French Open Tennis Finals this weekend! I will probably just skip the women's finals on Saturday morning so I can enjoy some quality time with these owls.

Outstanding set Fred! I smile everytime I see images of these guys. They have such personalities and each of these images really illustrates this very well.
#6 makes me think of the Tootsie Pop Owl. How many licks.... One...Two...Thhhhhree!
Now that I've aged myself.

It is not an easy task to out-do the uber talented Dr. Ong, but I think you may have managed to do just that, Fred! Great job on this fabulous set!
Thanks, mitesh, for your very kind words
