There are at least 6 visible owlets at the site that I have been frequenting in the last 3 years. The owlets with their fuzzy feathers are adorable.

It was an overcast and gloomy and a tad chilly morning and they just hang out there at the burrow. While I was there for about two hours, mom went out and brought back some food once or twice. The owlets look well fed though. I will go back out there when it is warmer for more feeding activities.

Some very beautiful photographs of these little owls. All are wonderfully captured and processed, but that first one is spectacular.
