The wet spring created a nice phenomenon this year: waterfalls at Gunlock Reservoir. This sandstone location has an overflow that turns into a maze of waterfalls if flooding occurs. It hasn't happened in 7 years but this year the magic happened. Here are a handful of my favorites in the landscape orientation. I'll post some portraits one tomorrow.
Very nice. I like the 4th one the most. It's nice to see those unique (and short live) waterfalls with clean water. It's usually muddy and brown/orange. If only there was a huge red arch at the top of each of these shots to complement waterfalls

Definitely worth a 7 year wait, excellent captures
Many locals were up visiting for a few weeks while this happened. It was a bit like a carnival. Had to shoot carefully and occasionally just clone someone out as this was a popular location.

No arch. That'd be true nirvana. I suspect the water was clearer here because it's coming straight out of a reservoir instead of churning down a stream bed forever.

Oh man those are gorgeous! The second one is my favorite, it conveys so much motion.
