Oh, my Eric !!!! Such a fantastic set . It was such a pleasure to scroll through. What a smile the kits brought when I got to them. So very nicely done and what a great perspective .
Birdie
Thanks Birdie....they are so photogenic, playful and elicit such emotion....perfect subjects for how I like to shoot

I have to agree with Birdie and Bob! Voted! There are photographers and there are the real photographers! I am unashamedly a HUGE fan of your work, Eric!
Bobby, thank you....I really don't know what to say....to have one of your peers that you also respect so much say such nice things means more than you can ever know

Looks like you had a great outing Eric. Some seem a bit flat, it must be the light you talked about. 3, 6, 7, 10,11, 12, 13 are superb. I love seeing them boxing.
Morris
Thanks Morris....lighting was tough and sometimes the post processing did need to deal with it in a way that may have made certain images look a little flat. We were really limited to very few hours of excellent light before heat shimmer took over.

Fantastic set, Eric! Your experience shows off here as you were in the right position at the right time to anticipate and capture some great interaction among the kits and the vixens. #9 and #13 stand out to me as ones I wish were mine, and #19 as well, just because of how beautiful the black coat looks (imagine being a week earlier and catching that kit with blue eyes!).
Thanks Mitesh....it was so strange lying down and photographing and hearing nothing coming from my left or right when you were there....I figured you were waiting till the exact proper second and then realized you'd already taken about 500 shots with your silent shutter....it was a blessing when I did video....I can't wait to see what you got when the light was just perfect...was really tempted to stay one more evening even as I waited in the ferry line. I do wish we had more opportunities to photograph the black kits....they are really striking and yes, blue eyes would have sent me over the top!

You just proved that it’s not just about the golden light but about how you view any given set up and situation
Big vote
Thanks KD....having golden light, as you will see from Mitesh and Protik makes these guys just glow and brings everything to life....but, without it, they still are fabulous subjects and am thrilled with what I came away with.
