Alright so this one is just straight up silly but my wife and I got a lot of laughs out of it while we were shooting it and again when we looked at the shots. We used both the digital and analog projector for this one.

That's the Batis 85? Wow! With all the recent hype around new 85mm f/1.4 lenses, and 105mm monsters, etc., it's nice to be reminded how good we've already got it with a real stalwart of a lens that's been available for years. I could have sworn that shot was achieved with a bigger portrait lens of some kind. You've inspired me to make more use of my own Batis 85.

Hello friends
I am back in Hong Kong, and after a couple of weeks without my A7III (it needed to have its sensor replaced because it burnt while taking pictures in a night club in Beijing ) I finally have it back, and I was a while ago doing some more tests to check that everything works fine.
I am gladly surprised because I don't know if it's placebo, but actually the camera seems sharper now with any lens. I focus misses sometimes before (especially with my Samyang but also with other lenses), and I suspected that the IBIS could be involved. Now, with this new sensor, I feel like the AF is working better and the camera seems sharper (better AF and sharper).
Also as always, working on improving my colors, that are especially difficult for dark people (the darker areas of the skin are usually too yellow and the brighter areas too pink).
It’s not a bad shot, but it looks like focus was on the back shoulder and the face is slightly out of focus. I wonder if it confirmed eye-af? I always wonder about this with nice fast lenses in low light. Every so often I have trouble with it.
