Sorry, I’m traveling at the moment and don’t have the metadata in hand. Basically, I live by the ocean and go out often and spend hours and hours photographing waves and just experimenting. This was a relatively slow shutter speed with my zoom lens but trying to pan the camera with the wave so it does not blur so much. I take literally thousands of failed shots just experimenting and having fun and maybe 1 in 1000 (at best) have something special about it I like. Honestly it’s all I want to do lately with the loss of my mom. It’s just peaceful.
Have fun out there.

Absolutely gorgeous, Mark! I've never seen anything quite like it. Bravo!
Could you post a few details of when, where, and how you shot this? Thanks!
Thank you very much, Mark. That's all I really needed to know and I appreciate you taking time to respond. This one certainly is one of the most beautiful shots of waves I have ever seen and I knew it was a long exposure but also there was some fascinating detail that I couldn't figure out how you did.
I hope you saw my message to you concerning your Mom's passing but since I (possibly mistakenly) posted it as part of my response to your kind comments about my first set of Poppy photos, I'll repost it here, just to make sure:
I read in your other posting about all the sad passings in your life just now. Please accept my deepest condolences. Several years ago when our precious son passed away suddenly, the kind words from my many friends here at FM were most appreciated. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Regards and blessings,
Endre
