Im not going to post the Sony 50mm. Something looks off and it may not be fair in the Samyangs benefit. Last thing I want to do. But lets go ahead and do left corner on Samyang

Does the R3’s AWB Shift help? Isn’t there a mode that’s basically “cool” priority?

I just fixed color only. Nothing else went from 6300 to about 5650 kelvin. There just too warm . If there is a fault that’s about it. But easy to fix

Yes, that actually works for the Samyang lenses. Just go to AWB and move the point to the left 3 or 4 times. Alternatively the "White" WB option always gives a cooler look.

Basically, I like warmer colors. That's why I sold the Sony FE85 1.8 for the Batis 85 1.8.
Would be interesting to see some portraits without WB changes.
You would not like the Batis 40 color. It's cooler than the 55/1.8's.

Thought it might, as I said before I like the Samyang on A7RII because it renders cooler anyway to my eye. Maybe set one of the M banks to “White” AWB. Of corse if you liked White with other lenses it won’t work, but I always liked “Ambiance”.
