All the interviews I've watched with Felder he comes across as such a sincere, down to earth and really nice guy.
Too bad Henley and Frey's egos couldn't coexist with him. Even after Frey's passing, they invite Vince Gill in, instead of letting Felder back in the fold.
Seems like they really underappreciated Randy Meisner as well.

Best of luck to Don in his solo career.
Thanks and yes I do think Don got a bad deal. He really was great to everyone Sat night. A really genuine and nice guy.

Great photos. He could stand toe to toe with Joe Walsh. They share one of the most iconic guitar solos in rock.

ha ha ha. Yeah that is CLASSIC. One of my desert island movies. Coen bros have a couple of those. Also my fav movie with Bridges.
I actually think Felder is better than Walsh. On the big live album, on the song Hotel Calif, from what I understand Felder played that extended Spanish intro. And I read that he actually came up with the intro and all the cord progressions on that song when it was written.
Great images Allen!!!!! One of my favorite musicians from one of my favorite groups! The sentiments mentioned above are usually the demise of many excellent music groups sadly. But out of that many more rise to a greater honor.

For those of you that are Eagles fans, and truthfully, how could you NOT be an Eagles fan, there is a great two part, three hour movie on the history of The Eagles. It is on Netflix and a very worthwhile piece of rock and roll history.
