In January 2017, on Lamar river in Yellowstone, I watched for a few hours a bobcat who finally decided to hunt. The duck never knew what happened. Thanks for following this series that brought me great joy shooting and sharing.
Great photos. The first one is a bit of a mind-bender: looking at positive and negative spaces is a nice effect. It would be interesting to see the intermediate images between the next-to- last and the the last one. Did the bobcat go under?

For those who wonder what happened between the jump and the meal, here are a few photos that are more of a documentary nature. The bobcat was completely submerged. He had trouble climbing back on land, the duck was heavy and the shore was steep but he made it a little bit downstream and walked in the forest with his meal.
