I think I haven't posted in this forum in about 10 years, so I thought it was time for my next post. These are my two daughters, who look nothing alike (which is apparently what happens when both parents are bi-racial). First shot is Gracie, taken with XT3 and 50/2. Second shot is Lauren, taken with GFX 50r and Canon 85/1.4L with techart adapter. Still on a learning curve with the strobes...after years of Canon speedlites, I'm now using the Godox/Flashpoint system.
Beautiful girls! Very different feeling with both shots. The first more bright and the 2nd dramatic light. The posing is cute and I love the scarf on the 2nd one. My biggest issue is in #1 with the hot spots on her nose and cheeks. That may require lighting adjustments in the future, but you can, for now, lower the brightness and make other adjustments in post. Definitely worth keeping.

Will post again in 2029. See ya!
2029, ummmm, ahhhh, there’s another reason they may not look alike!!!!! LoL JK!!!
Beautiful girls, very nice shots!
I love shooting white-on-white, it always looks so clean.
Very nice job. At least by 2029 you’ll be even better!!!! LoL

The second one has a heavy cyan color to her sclera / catchlights. Overall color doesn't seem effected by it too much, but you may want to selectively reduce / remove that cyan (and double check it's influence globally).
2 beautiful women! Yes the 2nd one is really a fine composition in its entirety. The beautiful young woman in #1 is just a pleasure to view but I agree with Kristin about the exposure. Not a real "biggie" but just a constructive comment.
Hope to see more of these ladies soon!

Two beautiful young women. The second really takes me in with the dark tones, fine detail, and simplicity. The first is more of a shock to the system (in a good way) with the brightness, big smile, and complex pattern to her dress. Plus, the way she is leaning into the camera adds a lot of pop to the portrait. I would not be surprised if the older daughter is an extrovert while the younger is an introvert. I wonder how the looks of the two relate to the looks of the parents.
