I'm pretty much obsessed with fall photography, so I'll post yet another one from last fall. This particular morning was crisp, quiet and gorgeous. I didn't expect much is the way of fantastic light, but like usual, the best light is not always predictable.
The intense sun ray was impressive and I hope I captured and processed well enough to convey what I saw.
On the technical side, this was taken from my 200 foot tripod; a DJI Mavic Pro 2. Yea, this drone doesn't have anywhere near the camera as my full frame, but I am impressed it captured this intense light and dynamic range.

Thanks! The view is of the Elk Mountains from McClure Pass.
Oh man, now I'm disappointed I didn't recognize it... looking up the valley towards Marble, right? I drove past that spot several times in September alone last year! You got some amazing light, great job of capturing it!
Great capture. On my screen, the trees look a bit too dark. I would try increasing the exposure and contrast just a bit. Just a minor nit....it's a beautiful photo.
