p.1 #1 · My daughter, Senior class of '18 (part 2)

I am finally done editing daughter's Senor portraits (5th child, 3rd daughter.) Yes, I am the SLOWEST when it comes to my own kids! OY. But one of the benefits of having a photographer as a mother is the ability to have a lot of versatility in her final album. I took the photos over a period of 3 or so months and here is the 2nd batch taken in downtown Ashland, Wisconsin.

I like the smile in #2! (inside joke, but I still really like it).
I love the cocked eyebrow in #4.
#7 is just superb. Everything falls in place for me. Excellent posing and great post processing.
The entire set is strong, but the three I mentioned really stand out. This is some of the best work I've seen you post. Great job!
Ha -- I figured a few might appreciate that smile! Thanks so much for your kind words. It was a little different for me and, of course, that made it a lot of fun.

Very nice set. 5 & 7 stand out for me but all are excellent.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Greg! #7 might be my favorite. Love to get a nice black-and-white!

Great looking shots. I’d enjoy a bit more compression on 6, letters could draw the eyes away. Great set overall for sure.
Thanks for the comment! I see what you are saying. It's about as far as I could push my 135 2.0, but it shows the down-town setting a bit more, so OK with it. (I did think of editing the signs out, but more work than I wanted, .) Thanks again!

I quite like the first one. Have you considered using a darker exposure with dramatic shadows for number 7?
Thank you! I could darken it, but it looks pretty evenly exposed on my (calibrated) screen. Still, I can see how it could be darker for a more dramatic effect. Thanks!

2, 4 + 7 are my favourites but overall you have created a strong impression of a young lady who is not only attractive but quietly dignified, self-confident, grown-up and intelligent - just what I would have thought any mother would want for her daughter and which a daughter will be able to look back to with pride and without any embarrassment.

Oh my word, such a wonderful compliment! Thank you so much. <3
