The limited amount of use I have given the 2x, so far has been great.
I have always been selective about the light I use the 2x in.

Wow these are great! #5 is my favorite for sure, great pose and consistent lighting across the bird, love it. Those short eared would be killer if the lighting had been more in your favor, the backlighting is pretty neat regardless though, thanks for sharing!

awesome series, Pius. you must be having a solid set of muscles to trudge around that long, carrying the 600 and then handholding. More power to you my friend. I would not dream of doing it.
