Has anyone been able to get in contact with Gus Lazzari at TLC repairs? I sent in my Leica CL in October. I got confirmation that he received it on 10/24. I have followed up with 2 emails a month apart (Nov/Dec) and I have heard nothing. I also tried to call him and his mailbox is full. I might even try to fax him now.
Fingers crossed that you see your camera again at some point in whatever condition - I never even heard of TLC repairs before. I googled the name, and on the website it states now "TLC Camera Repair has decided to temporarily suspend taking in new repairs in order to provide the best service for those already in the shop (The shelves are full)." Not a good sign, I would stay far away from this one....sorry!
Update on this - got it back from Gus!
I know number of talented people working on these is very limited, but a 4 month turnaround time is long.
If expectations were set ahead of time I would have been less anxious.

^ That's good! I've only had service from DAG and Youxin Ye, who lives about 20 miles from me. DAG takes ages and I understand why. I take repairs/CLA work to Youxin in Canton and haven't been down there in a while. Nice bloke and I read his wife is now doing the lens work.
