Semipalmated plover: this was a first in-flight frame of this specie for me, and literally one of the first 10 frames I got with my then new D5 and 600FL BG is the ocean

I know you said you didn't get out much. Well you did good -better than good- fantastic. The first one has such great detail but then they all did. Thanks for sharing your 2018 with me/us.

These are just so beautiful ! Can't see anything that would improve upon what you've captured. Anyone who says backgrounds don't matter needs to take a good long look at these. Really well done in every respect.

Arash, your use of the soft lighting for the male northern harrier is great. The way the colors show on the harrier is fantastic as usual. Please keep posting your pictures!
