You rarely ... correction - never ... disappoint us with the quality of your images, KD. Very well executed and rendered. The lighting and colors are exquisite. The skimmers are my favorites. Voted!
thanks Bobby for the support and the comments. I get lucky once in a while and I have great teachers and well wishers on this Forum and outside of the forum as well.
I will have to be extra careful that this does not go to my head and sets me up for failure
It is so much fun to see the skimmers fish and they are very funny on land as well.

Super set, KD!
Nice to see fellow old timers still getting low to get the shot.
Enjoyed them all, too hard to pick favorites (but I am a sucker for skimmers).
Merry Christmas!

KD, KD, KD, - another off the chart set! WOW If I had to pick a favorite it's #3 (semipalmated plover) for me, but they are all stunning. I really enjoy the clean backgrounds. Great sharpness and detail in all of them. I sure have enjoyed viewing your work this year.

A very fine set indeed KD. Thanks for the info. I've photographed the red knots for many years on the delaware bayshore but I wasn't aware of the moonbird nickname. My picks are #2,3,9,11 and 15 as they all face the viewer. TFS

KD, you did very well with the low angles here I am sure Red knots are fairly common (2nd half of May (in breeding plumage) and late October. They are always in good numbers (at least a dozen) in all my encounters over the years
Thanks,
Faizan
thanks for the information. I guess the numbers we saw in NJ was what must have excited BN. appreciate your comment, support and viewing.

Wow! This is a photo documentary in itself. Exciting! I especially enjoy the images you deliberately exposed to emphasize the action of the water flying off the skimmers.
Robert
thanks so much Robert for viewing and commenting. It was a very invigorating experience to see these skimmers having fun in the water.
