Phenomenal series of shots. Don't you just love these kinds of sequences? They reveal so much about how birds 'operate'--how they use their wings, tails, and feathers in flight. These are especially nice shots of the eagle's alula, or 'bastard wing' (the small feathers near the wrist). I have yet to write about these in my blog @ birdpartner.com, but I may. Great job, Herb! I'm envious of your skill.
