ehehe come on... it is hard to know right? I guess its because the city is much lower than the mountains and the clouds are acting as a shield against the light polution. Who knows...

This is on my list. Have you got any tips you can share? Whats the acess like?
J.
Oh thanks man...
Man the few tips I have to just spend your time there and dont "give" up even if weather is looking a bit dodgy. I had many great sunrises even though things were not looking like they were going to improve.
About the access: there are 2 ways (well few more but I am talking passing through the mountains). One goes through the valley bellow and if you have lots of weight you might want to do that first since you might be more fresh. It took quite a long time for me and the wife to walk everything and to top it off it was quite rainy and windy. I guess it took around 3-4 hours with pause so... Not much but it dips in the middle :P
The other access, through the mountains, it is more easy going, maybe 2 hours to this spot. This is very easy so no worries here.
We also spent some time going around the other areas and depending how you decide (maybe sleeping in other rifugios) you can get a very nice idea of the place.
Also, check via ferrata if you feeling bit more adventurous
